The therapeutic dose is 1/2 tsp per 20 lbs (9 kg.) body weight. You administer the therapeutic dose for the first four to six weeks - until your pet's inflammatory condition is under control. After this time you may lower the dose to the maintenance dose which is 1/4 tsp per 20 lbs.

Well, that depends on the size of your dog or cat.
One 350 g (12.35 oz) jar contains about 87 tsp of Recovery SA. For an 80 lb dog at the maintenance dose (1/4 tsp/20 lbs), one jar would last 87 days or just under 3 months)
A 1 k.g (2.2 lb) jar contains about 250 tsp -enough for eight months for an 80 lb dog. Of course, you'll use more in the first few weeks during the therapeutic period.

The therapeutic dose is a 1/2 scoop per 300 lbs (135 kg.) body weight. You administer the therapeutic dose for the first four to six weeks - until your horse's inflammatory condition is under control. After this time you may lower the dose to the maintenance dose which is 1/4 scoop per 300 lbs.

For an average 1200 lb horse, at the maintenance dose, you can expect a 2.2 lb (1 kg.) container to last about six weeks. An 11 lb (5 kg) container has enough Recovery for about six months.

The scoop supplied with Recovery Eq measures approximately 26 grams (just under an ounce) ; its volume is 2 tablespoons.
